As a busy Mum it’s not easy to have your hair looking fabulous at all times. The Salon 2 stylists give their expert opinion on the following easy to manage yummy, mummy hairstyles.
Jessica Alba’s hair always looks gorgeous. This mom-of-two’s cut is especially chic and can work with a lots of hair textures and types. For mothers wanting to embrace their natural waves, Salon 2 stylist, Katie Codd says this cut is perfect. “Ask your stylist for long, playful layers – nothing too blunt or blocky. In the morning apply a sea-salt spray to ends, scrunch, and leave to dry.”
Katie Holmes’ cut proves that taking off a few inches can really update a cut such as this bob. “This is a cute, sassy look for Mums,” says Salon 2 stylist, Joanne McDaniel. “A side swept fringe gives the chin-length cut a dramatic frame and won’t require daily fussing”.
Mums don’t always have to opt for above-the-shoulders styles.” Reese Witherspoon’s medium-length hairstyle is simple and youthful” says Salon 2 stylist, Noelle Marshall. “The long layers create movement around the face and keeps the cut from looking boring.”
Audrey Hepburn may have made the pixie famous, but Michelle Williams’ modern interpretation is a refreshing take on the style. Salon 2 stylist, Florence Mc Donagh says “that when it comes to cuts, this is as low-maintenance as it gets. For a style that requires no heat and just a little product to define the cut, this is ideal for busy Mums.”
